Signature of the creation of Aula ITBA-CIMNE in Buenos Aires (Argentina)

The Aulas CIMNE Network has a new node in Latin America. The agreement for the creation of the Aula ITBA-CIMNE was signed in Buenos Aires on April 29th 2015 by Prof. José Luis Roces, Rector of the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires (ITBA) and Prof. Eugenio Oñate, Director of CIMNE. ITBA is a prestigious private technical university in Argentina, specialized in mechanical, naval engineering and informatics among other technical disciplines (http://www.itba.edu.ar/) . The technical team at the Aula ITBA-CIMNE, under the direction of Dr. Sebastian D’Hers, include 4 professors, 2 assistant technicians and 9 students. Aula ITBA-CIMNE will be initially involved in the development and application of numerical methods to industrial manufacturing processes, naval design and fluid dynamics.
