The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Group of CIMNE has launched OKO, the first intelligent smart frame to the market that allows the user share images and multimedia content (videos, music, reminders…) sent from a mobile phone in real-time, in cooperation with the spin-off of CIMNE TAOC.
OKO has a 10 inches size and an High Definition (HD) screen (1280x800). The smart frame, that is already being marketed in Europe and US via Amazon, is specially addressed to “older people that don’t have smartphone nor Whatsapp but want to recieve photographies and videos from their loved ones”, has explained to La Vanguardia Eugenio Oñate, director of CIMNE. Its operation is based on an application, available for Android and iOS which enables to connect with the smart frame to share the different contents.
