Ayudas FPI
- Full name: Ayudas para contratos predoctorales para la formación de doctores
- Description: The purpose of the grants is the training of doctors through the financing of employment contracts, under the modality of predoctoral contract, in order for researchers in training to carry out a doctoral thesis associated with a research project previously financed by the grants of the Ministry within the call for aid for R+D+i projects "Research Challenges".
- Call for applications: Open date: expected in January
- Duration: 4 years
- Salary: from € 17,737 to € 23,756,04 gross per annum
- Complementary grant: € 6,860 will be granted in order to cover expenses related to stays in R&D centers and the registration in doctoral studies.

Ayudas FPU
- Full name: Ayudas para la formación de profesorado universitario (FPU)
- Description: These are grants aimed at research training in doctoral programs to obtain the title of Doctor and the acquisition of university teaching skills, in any area of scientific knowledge, which facilitate the future incorporation of these people into the Spanish higher education system, and of scientific research.

Beques FI
- Full name: Ajuts Joan Oró per a la contractació de personal investigador predoctoral en formació
- Description: Call for the award of grants for students who want to earn their PhD from a Catalan University or Research Center.
- Call for applications: Open date: expected from September to October
- Duration: 3 years
- Salary:from € 18,180.41 to € 19,479.0 gross per annum
- Complementary grant:€ 3,000 for training activities and research stays.

Doctorats industrials
- Full name: Ajudes a Doctorats Industrials (DI).
- Description: Grants to companies and research centers for the development of an industrial doctorate project, in which the doctor develops the research training, in collaboration with a university or research center, and which is the object of a doctoral thesis.
- Call for applications: Open date: From 12/03/2024 to 10/12/2024.
- Duration: 3 years
- Salary: to be defined by the company hiring (the researcher is recruited by a company). It depends on the modality of the project: co-financed DI/ specific DI)
- Complementary grant: A complementary grant of € 2,000 will be granted for the enrollment.

“La Caixa” INPhiNIT
- Full name: “la Caixa” Foundation’s Doctoral INPhINIT fellowships
- Description: INPhINIT is a new doctoral fellowship programme devoted to attracting international Early-Stage Researchers to the top Spanish research accredited host organisations with the Severo Ochoa or María de Maeztu distinction of excellence, any centre of the Carlos III Health Institute, and units considered to be excellent. INPhINIT is promoted by the "la Caixa" Foundation with the aim of supporting the best scientific talent and fostering innovative and high-quality research in Spain by recruiting outstanding international students and offering them an attractive and competitive environment for conducting research of excellence. 30 fellowships for early-stage researchers of any nationality to pursue their PhD studies in the best Spanish and Portuguese research centres and units with excellence distinction. This frame is addressed exclusively to PhD research projects on STEM disciplines: life sciences and health, experimental sciences, physics, chemistry and mathematics.
