Welcome Session for new CIMNE’s PhDs

On December 14th, 2021, CIMNE HR department organized a welcome session for new PhD at CIMNE. During the day, the attendees received information about new HR initiatives, specially in the training field.

PhD training

Content of the session:

  • Welcome at CIMNE: organizational chart, research groups, etc.
  • Presentation of the new PhDs and their research field
  • Severo Ochoa Acreditation
  • Human Resources Strategy For Researchers at CIMNE (HRS4R action plan)
  • Training plan for PhDs and Career Service
  • Gender Policies at CIMNE
  • Skills, Interest, Values & Personality
  • Transferable skills for PhD students
  • Training needs detection
  • Networking between new PhD researchers

The session was conducted by Leticia Chico, leader of CIMNE’s HR department, and Emma López, expert in training for PhDs and conflict resolution.

18 new PhD researchers attended the session and participated actively in all the dynamics and exercices. The evaluation result was 8.4/10.
