The event
CIMNE and CEAM are jointly organising a training and networking session for companies interested in advanced simulation, digital innovation and process improvement for the metal industry.
The session will offer a practical overview of how CIMNE’s computational engineering capabilities can support industrial organisations in addressing real production challenges, improving processes and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.
Objectives
- To present CIMNE’s expertise in advanced numerical simulation, digital technologies and innovation applied to industrial processes.
- To showcase real applications in metal forming, machining, additive manufacturing, fatigue, topological optimisation and immersive technologies.
- To foster dialogue between research teams and companies around current industrial needs, challenges and opportunities.
- To encourage future collaboration between CIMNE, CEAM and companies seeking technological support for innovation and competitiveness.
Programme
- Institutional welcome and introduction to CIMNE
Presentation of CIMNE’s mission, research and innovation capabilities, with a focus on technology transfer and collaboration with industry. - Advanced simulation for metal forming and industrial machining
Session led by Fernando Rastellini,
Josep M. Carbonell and
Júnior Ramírez, including practical cases in flow forming, spinning and stamping processes. - Coffee break and networking
An opportunity for participants to exchange views with CIMNE researchers, CEAM representatives and other companies. - Simulation technologies for manufacturing, materials and industrial components
