Joan Baiges, ECCOMAS Zienkiewicz Award to Young Investigator 2022

Joan BaigesProfessor Joan Baiges, member of the Fluid Mechanics group of CIMNE, has been awarded with the ECCOMAS Olgierd Cecil Zienkiewicz. This is a recognition for young researchers for their contributions in the field of computational engineering.

ECCOMAS has just announced the winners of the selected ECCOMAS Medals and ECCOMAS Young Investigator Awards 2022. Nominations for the ECCOMAS Awards are submitted by members of the ECCOMAS community. The final selection is carried out by an independent awards committee set up specifically for this purpose, formed by previous winners of the ECCOMAS medals, previous winners of the young researcher awards and representatives of the ECCOMAS technical committees.
