Carmen Andrade receives the Paul McIntyre Award by the Institute of Corrosion

Carmen Andrade Institute of Corrosion (ICORR) of UK has awarded its top prize in the Engineering branch, Paul McIntyre Award 2020, to Dr. Carmen Andrade. This award was created in 2017 and recognizes scientific merits in the facet of its application to the resolution of practical problems. Dr. Andrade is the first Spanish researcher and the first woman to be awarded by this prestigious Institute for her international reputation in the field of corrosion and engineering and promote collaboration in the field of corrosion engineering at a European level.

The Award recognizes the qualities that adorned engineer Paul McIntyre as a senior engineer, leader in his professional field and distinguished for his international contributions to the development of international Guidelines and Standards in the field of corrosion.
