We implement comprehensive policies, including strict equal pay for equal work standards and work-life balance measures that exceed legal requirements. Our dedicated Equality Plan 2022-2026 outlines specific actions to advance gender balance and diversity, while our adherence to the Human Resource Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) principles ensures merit-based, transparent recruitment processes.

We work with other Catalan research centres to learn best practices and seek targeted initiative female researchers, working actively to increase representation.

Our commitment to a safe, respectful environment is reinforced by our Alert System—a confidential channel for suggestions, concerns, and reporting, including dedicated support for sexual harassment situations. This system ensures immediate response when necessary and maintains our zero-tolerance policy for discrimination.

We also promote flexible working arrangements, mentoring programs, and comprehensive support for new arrivals.
