Webinar – Advanced Fatigue Simulation methodology for Electric Vehicles chassis parts

Nov 9, 2023

On 28 November, Fatigue4Light, a project coordinated by CIMNE to develop lightweight solutions adapted to the chassis parts of electric vehicles, will host a webinar entitled Advanced Fatigue Simulation methodology for Electric Vehicles chassis parts.

The event, which will last less than two hours, will be introduced by the project coordinator and CIMNE researcher, Lucia Barbu, who, after the welcome, will talk about Boosting the use of lightweight materials in Electric Vehicles' chassis. Sergio Jiménez, also a researcher at CIMNE, will give two presentations on numerical simulation and numerical analysis applied to the strength of these materials.

Matthias Merzkirch, senior researcher at RISE, will talk about 3D-Shaped Fibre Metal Laminates, whilst Michele Tedesco, Global Responsible for Metals & Anticorrosion at Stellantis CRF, will address the topic Advance high strength steel Lower Control Arm.

The programme and registration form are available on the Fatigue4light project website.
