Oct 27, 2022

Recently, Advanced Factories, the largest congress on industry 4.0 which will take place in April 2023 in Barcelona, has shared in its social networks an interview to Sergi Saurí, the leader of CENIT, the group for Innovation in Multimodal Transport of CIMNE.

In the interview, in Spanish, Saurí speaks about the present and the future of mobility and points the digitalization, the intermodality, and the sustainability as a key axes of the sector. According to Saurí, the challenges of the future of mobility go through the creation of an energy model based on renewables that allows the use of new non-fossil energy sources to be sustainable.

A more networked mobility model that enhances mobility and digitization as a tool to promote user decision-making by making more efficient and sustainable journeys are some of the aspects mentioned by Saurí as elements that will ultimately shape the mobility of the future.
