Prof. Enrique Romero, 2nd European Distinguished Lecture on Unsaturated Soils by the ISSMGE

Prof. Enrique Romero, director of research (UPC·BarcelonaTech) and affiliated researcher at Geomechanics Group of CIMNE, was honoured “2nd European Distinguished Lecturer on Unsaturated Soils” by the TC-106, the Technical Committee on Unsaturated Soils of the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE). The European Distinguished Lecture on Unsaturated Soils is awarded to a person every four years to recognise research which has been highly significant in its contribution, impact and vision.

The keynote lecture was delivered on Monday, October 19th 2020, after the Opening Session of the online conference “E-UNSAT 2020 Unsaturated Horizons 4th European Conference on Unsaturated Soils”.
