CIMNE researcher Andrés Reyes receives the Cerdà Futur Award 2023

Andrés ReyesThe CIMNE researcher Andrés Reyes has been awarded with the Cerdà Futur Award for his Master's thesis. 'Life cycle analysis of electric and hydrogen buses to improve decision making' is the title of the awarded work. Sergi Saurí, leader of CENIT Group for Innovation in Multimodal Transport, has codirected this thesis.

Camins Futur Award is one of the two newly created awards within the framework of the Cerdà Awards, awarded by the Professional Association of Civil Engineers of Catalonia. This award aims to recognize the work of young engineers.

The Professional Association has highlighted its originality and importance, “a long-term view and an analysis that goes beyond the simple economic perspective, evaluating the life cycle and the impact on the environment of innovative solutions in public transport”.
