David J. Vicente, Post-Doc researcher at CIMNE, participated in the organization of the congress 'Young Water Professionals – Spain 2019' of the YWP-IWA association.
This event gathered more than 250 professionals from the water sector to share their knowledge in different areas such as hydraulic engineering, environment and waste water or management and design of infrastructures.
Among the activities that took place in parallel with the scientific-technical sessions, David J. Vicente designed an original workshop entitled “Water Escape Room” in order to encourage event attendees to network and have some fun. This activity consisted of a detective story, in which Inspector Zienkiewicz had to unravel the plans of a cyberterrorist who was threatening to attack a series of hydraulic infrastructures. The success of the activity raised the interest of iagua, the leading website in the Spanish Water sector, which interviewed him about the initiative:
