CIMNE Seeks Postdoctoral Researchers for MSCA Fellowship Program

Mar 21, 2024

The International Centre for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE) is looking for postdoctoral researchers who are interested in joining the Centre through a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowship.

The CIMNE Project Management Office is now accepting expressions of interest through this form, which will remain open until 30 April. The call for MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2024 will be officially launched on 10 April and remain open until 11 September.

The goal of MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships is to enhance the creative and innovative potential of researchers holding a PhD and who wish to acquire new skills through advanced training, international, inter-sectoral and interdisciplinary mobility. MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships are open to excellent researchers of any nationality.

Several postdoc researchers have joined CIMNE in the last decade through an MSCA grant, working at the intersection of applied engineering and pressing societal issues such as adaptation to climate change, mobility, cities and territory, energy and environment, industrial processes, and health.

According to Sandra Pérez, head of CIMNE's Project Management Office, selected candidates should expect to join “an international and dynamic environment” at CIMNE, “recognised for its excellence in research”. “We are looking for brilliant minds who are not only good at what they do, but who want to make a meaningful impact on the world,” she adds.

Postdoctoral candidates are encouraged to review the list of CIMNE research themes and methodologies to identify the research area that aligns with their interests. The centre’s Project Management Office provides direct assistance to candidates through the dedicated email address fellowships@cimne.upc.edu.
