The XVI National Congress on Composite Materials now accepting abstracts

Oct 7, 2024

The XVI National Congress on Composite Materials (MATCOMP25), which will be held 8-10 July 2025 in Barcelona, is now accepting abstracts. The submission form is accessible through the congress website and will remain open until December 20.

Experts interested in submitting their work must include a short summary of their research, and include separate sections for the main results and conclusions, using a form available on the same website. The document can be written in Spanish or English.

The congress, organized by the Spanish Association of Composite Materials (AEMAC) and the International Centre for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE), will convene top international experts in composite materials to share the latest advances and reflect on the challenges and opportunities these technologies bring across multiple industries.

Invited speakers include Aizea Astor Hoschen (FEAD), Dr. Carlos G. Davila (NASA/Universidade do Porto), Dr. Jose Sánchez (CSIC), and Dr. Raquel Verdejo (CSIC).

The event is led by CIMNE’s Dr. Xavier Martínez, Dr. Fermín Otero, and Dr. Sergio Oller as organizing chairs.
