The Technical University of Catalonia (UPC BarcelonaTech) continues being one of the top 100 worldwide universities in Technology and Instrumental Sciences, Atmospheric Sciences, Mathematics and Civil Engineering. In addition, it leads the state panorama in two categories: Atmospheric Sciences and Water Resources. These figures comes from the new edition of Shanghai Ranking's Global Ranking of Academic Subjects and they have been posted recently by the University in its social networks.
CIMNE was born 35 years ago within the School of Civil Engineering and a large part of its research staff is formed by teaching staff of the Technical University of Catalonia, in the areas of mathematics, civil engineering and environmental sciences and water resources.
