1. User Information

Who is responsible for the treatment of your personal data?

The CENTRE INTERNACIONAL DE MÈTODOS NUMÈRICS A L’ENGINYERIA (CIMNE) is the controller of the user’s personal data and informs you that this data will be processed in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December (LOPDGDD).

Why do we process your personal data and why do we do so?

Depending on the form where we have obtained your personal data, we will treat it confidentially for the following purposes:

In the CV form

  • To involve the interested party in the personnel selection processes and analyse the applicant’s profile with the aim of selecting a candidate for the vacant position of the person responsible.

In the Contact Us form

  • To retain a usable way of communicating with the interested party, in order to address the nature of the message received through the aforementioned form (with the consent of the interested party, 6.1.a GDPR).

In the Newsletter Sign Up form

  • To add the contact data of the interested party into an electronic file in order to send relevant electronic communications to their topic of interest (with the consent of the interested party, 6.1.a GDPR).

For how long will your personal data be stored?

They will be kept for no longer than is necessary to fulfil the purpose of the processing, or for as long as legal requirements govern their storage. When they are no longer necessary for this purpose, they will be deleted using appropriate security measures to anonymise or completely destroy the data.

Who do we share your personal data with?

No communication of personal data to third parties is foreseeable, except, if necessary, for the development and execution of the purposes of the processing, to our communication service providers with whom the CONTROLLER has signed the confidentiality and data processor agreements required by current privacy regulations.

What are your rights?

The rights of the USER are:

  • The right to withdraw consent at any time.
  • The right to access, rectify, transfer and delete their data, and to limit or oppose its processing.
  • The right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (www.aepd.es) if they consider that the processing does not comply with current regulations.

2. Mandatory or optional nature of the information provided by the user

By ticking the corresponding boxes and entering data in the fields marked with an asterisk (*) in the contact form or presented in download forms, USERS expressly, freely and unequivocally accept that their data is necessary for the provider to respond to their request, with the inclusion of data in the remaining fields being voluntary. The USER guarantees that the personal data provided to the CONTROLLER is accurate and is responsible for communicating any changes thereto.

The CONTROLLER informs you that all data requested through the website is mandatory, as it is necessary for the provision of an optimal service to the USER. If all the data is not provided, it cannot be guaranteed that the information and services provided will be completely tailored to your needs.

3. Security measures

In accordance with the provisions of current regulations on personal data protection, the CONTROLLER complies with all the provisions of the GDPR and LOPDGDD regulations for the processing of personal data under its responsibility, and manifestly with the principles described in Article 5 of the GDPR, whereby data is processed in a lawful, fair, and transparent manner in relation to the data subject and is adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which it is processed.

The CONTROLLER guarantees that it has implemented appropriate technical and organisational policies to apply the security measures established by the GDPR and the LOPDGDD in order to protect the rights and freedoms of USERS and has communicated the appropriate information to them so that they can exercise them.
