New article published on ‘Revista de Obras Públicas’

Jun 29, 2023

CALAA publication co-authored by CIMNE researcher Fernando Salazar “CALA: Mejora de la seguridad hidrológica” (CALA: Improvement of the Hydrologic security) on the magazine Revista de Obras Públicas. The article explains the results of a cooperative research between CIMNE, FCC and the UPM within the framework of the project CALA, funded by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitivity and ended in December 2019.

About the project

CALA proposes the improvement of hydrological safety and the increase in the reservoir capacity of factory dams through the implementation of lateral channels. The investigation takes into account innovative actions to be carried out in factory dams as an element of mitigation and protection against climate change actions, understanding extreme hydrological events or floods.
