Inergy, spin-off company of CIMNE, has been the awardee of the tender called by the Catalan Energy Institute (ICAEN) for the contracting of the Information and Validation Service for the Government of Catalonia’s energy bills (SIME). The service includes the analysis and verification of consumption and billing of 14 departments and 30 entities and bodies dependent on the Government of Catalonia, with more than 2,800 electricity and gas supply points and around 200 users. The service includes the periodic upload of the invoicing files of the marketing companies, the analysis and verification of the correct invoicing and the justification of the detected billing incidents. As well as a training service for users in the software.

Consumption management will be done with the SIE software, which will be implemented in most of the public buildings, and will be integrated with the Government GEFACT invoicing system, facilitating a load flow and validation of automated invoicing and continued. In addition, the use of SIE software will allow for in-depth energy analysis and monitoring of the energy performance of buildings through the calculation of efficiency indicators, benchmarking between buildings, global monitoring and the calculation of savings.
