18th International Conference on Computational Plasticity. Fundamentals and Applications

📍 Barcelona, Spain

📅 2-5 September 2025

The European Community on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences (ECCOMAS) organizes this XVIII International Conference on Computational Plasticity. Fundamentals and Applications (COMPLAS 2025).

Attending COMPLAS 2025 offers a unique opportunity to engage with leading experts in computational plasticity at a conference established in 1987. It provides a high-level forum to explore theoretical foundations and numerical advances in nonlinear solid mechanics. Held in Barcelona, it continues the legacy of a prestigious and successful scientific series.

The conference will cover topics such as:

Conference Topics

  • Advanced Discretization Techniques

  • Advanced Material Models and Computational Material Design

  • Atomistic, Nano, and Micro-mechanics of Materials

  • Biomechanics

  • Contact Mechanics

  • Damage, Fracture, Fatigue and Failure Mechanics

  • Data-Driven Modeling in Science and Engineering

  • Data Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence

  • Digital Twins

  • Geomechanics, Environment and Geoscience

  • Industrial Applications in Science and Engineering

  • Inverse Problems, Optimization and Design

  • Manufacturing and Material Forming Processes

  • Model Reduction and Real-Time Computing Techniques

  • Multi-Scale Material Models and Techniques

  • Multi-Physics Problems
