ABSTRACT
This talk will focus on the commitment that the centre and its researchers have with society. Explaining what we do, our research activity to different audiences, overcoming technical essays to be able to explain our work to society in general. It is a challenge that we can only meet as a community, by creating a permanent network of experts who will provide information on the centre's scientific activity to the general public, thus contributing to its visibility.

SPEAKER CV
Laura Bermúdez is a journalist (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, 1999-2004) and a graphic designer (Escola del Treball, 2010-2012). She worked as a content manager and web graphic designer in a private and public companies for 15 years. Her mission at CIMNE is to give visibility to the research done by the different research groups of the centre. She is the responsible for the management of the website, the social networks, the corporate identity and the dissemination of events organized by the centre, among other tasks.
