ABSTRACT
On his recent visit to Mexico within the framework of the Severo Ochoa mobility program, Professor Francisco Zárate had the opportunity to carry out various activities like the successful third symposium of CIMNE Joint labs, supported by CIMAT, in a virtual/face-to-face modality.
A collaboration agreement was signed between SAPAL, a decentralized water management body, for the city of León Gto. and the AIAC.
He taught a small course on finite elements at the University of Guanajuato, in the Faculty of Civil Engineering. During his stay, he also visited the Celaya Technological facilities, which expressed its interest in being part of the CIMNE Joint lab network.
«It has been a very productive visit, despite having had environmental contingencies, flight cancellations and volcanic eruptions», explains the professor.
