Our Last Mile Distribution course, organised in collaboration with EIT Urban Mobility, has been a huge success.
⦠Sergi Sauri, Director of CENIT, kicked off the first session with an overview of the pressing issues surrounding last-mile distribution in cities.
⦠In week 2, Juan Sandes from GLS offered valuable insights into the transformation of goods transportation in e-commerce. While Luis Framis de Ferrater and Ilias Allali Ben Haman of Geever | Distribución de última milla provided an in-depth look at how to implement a sustainable and economically viable approach to last mile distribution.
⦠To round up, Marc Segura from Ajuntament de l’Hospitalet and Jordi JovĆ© Palou from Ćrea Metropolitana de Barcelona (AMB) shared case studies on how they are meeting the challenges of last mile distribution
According to course organiser, Paco GasparĆn, the course was a great success. He said, āAttendees gained valuable insights into current urban goods distribution methods, the organisational strategies of large companies in package transportation, and innovative last-mile solutions.ā
