It is an Engineering and Consultancy founded by a group of researchers from the UPC in 1999 with up to 10 years of experience in R&D (solar thermal engineering, thermodynamics, numerical computation,etc.). Participants of the project are mainly engineers and physicists specialized in thermal processes

AIGUASOL Enginyeria is a private enterprise which offers integral solutions for solar thermal energy applications designed through high level numerical simulation tools (TRNSYS, EES, AIGUASOL Enginyeria is also the official TRNSYS distributor and technical supporter in Spain and Portugal

Due to the knowledge and orientation of the company, AIGUASOL Enginyeria has been participating, since the creation of the group, in different research projects, some of them supported by the European Community.
