Barcelona Plastic-Damage model
The Barcelona Plastic-Damage model is a constitutive law for an accurate characterization of steel materials. The model was specially developed for the simulation of Ultra Low Cycle Fatigue failure. However, it also provides an excellent response for any other load type, monotonic and cyclic. In the following link it is included an Abaqus USERMAT subroutine, available for all those researchers interested in using the model. This subroutine has been developed in the framework of the research project: Ultra low cycle fatigue of steel under cyclic high-strain loading conditions (RFSR-CT-2011-00029). This project is funded by the Research Fund for Coal and Steel. Barcelona Plastic-Damage Model - USERMATThe link contains a compressed file with three different folders. Folder “Abaqus USERMAT” contains the USERMAT code and a manual that describes how the usermat has to be used. Folder “Examples” contains some abaqus examples that use the USERMAT developed. Finally, in folder “Theory” there are a conference paper and two journal papers that describe the theory and formulations behind the Barcelona Plastic-Damage model.
