Project developed between Abengoa Research and CIMNE. The final aim of the project is create a numerical tool to simulate structural elements made with advanced composite materials. To meet the VMD objective, a multi-scale homogenization procedure for 3D solid geometries has been developed. The homogenization method proposed considers non-linear effect. The procedure was implemented at PLCd code. Then, the multi-scale homogenization can be coupled with the phenomenological homogenizations previously implemented in the code.
