Functions to be developed:

The profile of the person to be contracted is a computer scientist or an engineer with high-performance computational fluid dynamic skills. He/she must be in charge of implementation issues, maintenance of the software and the cluster where the parallel code is expected to run, as well as technical support. He/she will also be in charge of installing the code in the high performance computing environments were the numerical simulations will be run.

The job will be carried out within the framework of the TOP-FSI project: "Topological optimization of structures subject to fluid-structure interaction", corresponding to the call "Research Challenges", with the code RTI2018-098276-B-I00.

Required skills:
  • Engineer/Computer Scientist with knowledge of numerical methods
  • Good programming skills

    Other valued skills (not mandatory):

    1. English proficiency
    2. C++/Fortran programming languages
    3. Academic record

    Qualification system:

    The requisites and merits will be evaluated with a maximum note of 100 points. Such maximal note will be obtained summing up the following points:

    1. Publication and career track: 40%
    2. Previous research and academic experience in the field of the position: 20%
    3. Language skills (English): 20%
    4. Interview: 20%
