Abstract |
Monalisa and Monalisa 2.0, already supported by TEN-T, have defined and tested the concept of Sea Traffic Management (STM) which promotes a more sustainable maritime transport. The present proposal aims to further test and validate this concept. This pilot action with wider benefits, will impact all core corridors. It is part of a larger project aiming at ensuring successful deployment of STM. The following activities will be implemented: Voyage Management; Flow Management and Port Collaborative Decision Making. The validation will be carried out through test-beds. The Maritime Cloud facilitating information sharing will be used as infrastructure for the information exchange in the test-beds. Overall, the Action will refine and develop the existing analyses on the effects on the parties, the legal and liability aspects, operational aspects, as well as provide cost-benefit analysis with business cases. |
