CV
I am assistant professor at the Fluid Mechanics department, Universitat politécnica de Catalunya and researcher at CIMNE. My background includes a six year degree in physics obtained at the Universidad de Buenos Aires and a doctoral degree obtained at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya under the advise of Ramon Codina. My research is focused on the development of numerical methods for the simulation of incompressible or nearly incompressible flows, possibly with thermal coupling, in both laminar and turbulent regimes. This is a complex problem whose solution involves many different concepts developed in different environments. In these pages you will find some information about my own contribution to its understanding (see my publications) as well as several links. I'm also actively involved in the COMFUS project whose aim is to develop numerical methods for the simulation of complex engineering problems arising in fusion technology (e.g. ITER).
