| CV | Dr. Enrique Ortega is aeronautical engineer, graduated at the Aeronautical University Institute (IUA), Argentina (2001). He has a MSc in aerospace engineering from the IUA and the National University of Cordoba, Argentina (2005), and a Ph.D. from the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) (2014). He began his career in the field of experimental aerodynamics (low-speed wind tunnels) at the Applied Research Center, IUA, Argentina (2000-2004), and joined the International Center for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE) in 2004 as pre-doctoral researcher. Since then he has participated in different European research projects in the field of aeronautics. His PhD thesis focused on developing meshless techniques for the solution of compressible flow problems. His work as researcher in CIMNE is focused on computational aerodynamics, fluid-structure interaction problems and meshless methods. He is also a Serra Hunter professor at ESEIAAT-UPC, researcher and professor of Aerodynamics and Experimental Aerodynamics in the Aerospace Engineering degree. |
