| CV | Julio Marti obtained a PhD. degree in Engineering (specialization: Computational Mechanics) from Universidad Nacional del Litoral, Argentina in 2008. Dr. Marti joined CIMNE in 2008 as post-doc researcher and since 2011 he has been working as a lecturer at the Civil Engineering school in the Technical University of Catalonia(UPC) on the “Continuum mechanics” course. During these years, he has been actively doing research on different topics. Simulation of multi-fluid and fluid-structure interaction using Lagrangian and Eulerian formulation, enrichment methods, thermo-mechanical analysis and high performance computing are his major research topics. Currently he is collaborating with the Bundesanstalt fur Materialforschung und prufung (BAM,Germany) in the development of a computational model for the simulation of multi-fluid flows. The results of his research have been published in top international journals as well as in the most important congresses in the area of finite element analysis. As of April 2020, the h-index of his research citations is 12, with a total of 612 citations based on google scholar. Additionally, he is accredited as 'agregat/acreditació de recerca' by AQU and as 'profesor ayudante doctor' by ANECA. He has supervised 1 PhD and 11 Master thesis. |
