CV	Josep Maria Carbonell is a Civil Engineer (Enginyer de Camins, Canals i Ports) by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya since 2004. He got the Ph.D. degree in Computational Mechanics in 2009. At that time he started to give classes of Continuum Mechanics as an Assistant Lecturer in the EUETIB (Escola Universitària d’Enginyeria Tècnica Industrial de Barcelona). He has research in the field of Solid and Fluid Mechanics, in the field of the Contact Mechanics, and in the development of the Particle Finite Element Method. He is the developer of the SolidMechanicsApplication and also of the PfemSolidMechanicsApplication, both included in the Kratos Multiphysics frame.
