| CV | David J. Vicente received a Bachelor's Degree and later a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid in 2009 and 2011, respectively, both specialized in Hydraulics. In 2017, he presented his thesis entitled 'Design of pressure management rules in water distribution districts and impact analysis' with 'Cum Laude' rating. He has worked in multiple research projects, being his fields of specialty the following ones: (i) Water Distribution Systems: modeling, pressure management and leakage estimation, (ii) Water Resources Management: hydraulic water balance and modeling of hydrological processes, (iii) Dam Engineering: geometric design, thermo-mechanical simulation and (iv) Application of Machine Learning techniques. He is the author or co-author of 4 articles in scientific journals (JCR indexed), one chapter of a scientific book and 20 contributions in conference proceedings. |
