MindOpera is a comprehensive facilities information management system that\u00a0unifies, analyses and optimises all energy and maintenance data in a single environment<\/strong>, converting them into actionable intelligence and providing a comprehensive, real-time view of performance across entire building portfolios.<\/p>\n

This innovative tool, created by the\u00a0BEE Group<\/a>\u2014the Innovation Unit in Building, Energy and Environment at CIMNE\u2014 is the core engine of\u00a0Infraestructures.cat<\/a>\u00a0Data Orchestrator (l\u2019Orquestrador) and of the Energy Monitoring System (SIME) of the Catalan Energy Institute of the data orchestrator of the\u00a0Catalan Energy Institute (ICAEN)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

More than 11,000 buildings<\/strong> of the Government of Catalonia currently operate with a high level of supervision and energy efficiency thanks to MindOpera and its extensions through SIME (ICAEN) and the Orchestrator of Infraestructures.cat.<\/p>\n

Through this integrated approach, the platform enables large-scale comparison of operational indicators, rigorous evaluation of real energy performance, and verification of implemented efficiency measures<\/strong>. It also supports predictive, data-driven operation models and continuous supervision of energy supplies, maintenance workflows, and renewable self-consumption systems. In parallel, it optimises maintenance management processes and provides valuable technical support for the preparation and monitoring of new tenders.<\/p>\n

Beyond its proven application in public building portfolios, this tool also offers significant added value for large-scale infrastructures and private asset portfolios<\/strong>. These environments face similar challenges: the need to supervise multiple heterogeneous systems from a centralised platform, optimise energy consumption across diverse assets, reduce downtime through predictive maintenance, and ensure contract performance monitoring with full operational transparency.<\/p>\n

MindOpera addresses these demands by harmonising operational data, generating portfolio-level KPIs, and enabling predictive, efficient management at scale \u2014 transforming complex infrastructure into intelligent, data-driven environments capable of delivering measurable performance, resilience, and sustainability<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

MindOpera is currently deployed in large public building portfolios and is designed to operate in complex, multi-asset environments<\/strong>. When applied to port infrastructures, it enables centralised governance, operational intelligence, and predictive maintenance across highly heterogeneous systems.<\/p>\n

Ports are far more than single facilities; they function as fully fledged energy ecosystems. Within a single port environment, terminals and warehouses operate alongside industrial refrigeration and cold storage installations, pumping and hydraulic systems, and large-scale exterior lighting networks. Increasingly, these infrastructures also integrate photovoltaic systems for self-consumption and are undergoing progressive electrification processes. At the same time, ports manage multiple parallel energy contracts and operate as 24\/7 critical infrastructures.<\/p>\n
