The pilot participants are members of two energy cooperatives located in the Netherlands and in Spain.<\/li>\n<li>FLEXCoop supports the democratisation of the energy system by enabling<span>&nbsp;<\/span><strong>electricity consumers in households to actively support the energy transition and benefit from it through demand response.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00abFlexibility\u00bb is one of the buzz words related to the debate on the integration of renewables.<\/strong> Using flexibility from consumers is perceived as a promising way to balance the system. However, what does this mean for cooperatives? And what kind of services can they offer to their members by using this \u00abdemand-side flexibility? <strong>Based on the experience of the FLEXCoop project<\/strong>, it has been published a report that provides an overview of \u00abflexibility\u00bb services for residential consumer and illustrates them with<strong> real experiences of two cooperative actors, Energie Samen (NL) and Som Energia (ES)<\/strong> who together with their members experimented with new services.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rescoop.eu\/news-and-events\/news\/brand-new-report-on-flexibility-services-for-energy-cooperatives\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><button class=\"btn btn-default\">Check the report<\/button><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FLEXCoop aims at introducing a complete automated Demand Response framework and tool suite for residential electricity consumers.
