She is a member of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cimne.com\/2060\/2746\/research\/research-areas--groups\">CENIT<\/a><\/strong>, Group for Innovation in Multimodal Transport of CIMNE, and has a Master Degree in Civil Engineering with an Infrastructure and Transport Planning specialization. Eglantina has experience in data analysis, adoption of GIS technologies and methods for transport projects&nbsp;and&nbsp;simulation applications.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>EnerNETMob aims to <strong>draft, test and improve parallel &ldquo;Sustainable Electromobility Plans&rdquo; (SUMP)<\/strong> according to common standards and low carbon policies, in order to set an &ldquo;Interregional Electromobility Network&rdquo; crossing cities of all transnational MED area. <strong>The project promotes sharing mobility and land-sea intermodality using electric transport systems, by implementing interurban and interregional pilot networks of Electric Vehicles Supply Equipment (EVSE) also co-powered by Renewable Energy Sources.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>By integrating the SUMP and&nbsp;<strong>Sustainable Energy Action Plan<\/strong> (SEAPs) models, the &ldquo;Sustainable Electromobility Plans&rdquo; will be developed <strong>to reach 2 main challenges:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>to implement and extend &ldquo;Interregional Electromobility Networks&rdquo;<\/strong> inside and beyond MED area, following common approaches and design guidelines for electric transport infrastructures\/services;<\/li>\n<li><strong>to implement pilot small-scale investments on electromobility for interurban and intermodal connections<\/strong> in order to allow longer trips and test network at transnational level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2014\/94\/EU Directive provided preliminary guidelines to develop charging infrastructures in EU territory.<\/strong> However, Member States have still not implemented integrated EVSE networks at European level with the same communication protocols and planning models.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, on the basis of existing Best Available Technologies, <strong>the project will develop electromobility solutions and will test pilot actions to overcome medium-trip limitations and to coordinate future investments on electric transport in the MED area.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eglantina Dani is the co-leader of the European project EnerNETMob: Mediterranean Interregional Electromobility Networks for intermodal and interurban low carbon transport systems at CIMNE.
