Esta innovadora tecnolog\u00eda facilita <\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">la gesti\u00f3n integral del litoral <\/span><\/strong> <strong><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">para evitar la desaparici\u00f3n de la arena<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> en las playas, un problema ambiental creciente para los pr\u00f3ximos 30 a\u00f1os.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">La tecnolog\u00eda consiste en un conjunto de tubos de pol\u00edmero anclados al fondo marino. Una vez llenos de agua, los tubos crean una estructura de rompeolas que emerge sobre la superficie del agua y puede <\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">mitigar el efecto del oleaje<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> . A diferencia de los rompeolas estructurales permanentes, la innovadora soluci\u00f3n de CIMNE solo puede utilizarse durante periodos de mal tiempo para prevenir la erosi\u00f3n de las playas arenosas, <\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">minimizando as\u00ed su impacto ambiental en las corrientes marinas naturales y la biodiversidad<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> cuando el agua est\u00e1 en calma.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">La <\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">maqueta<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> del dique inflable se <\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">prob\u00f3 con \u00e9xito<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> en el canal de olas de 100 m de longitud del Laboratorio de Ingenier\u00eda Mar\u00edtima (LIM) de la Escuela T\u00e9cnica Superior de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos de la Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Catalu\u00f1a (UPC) en 2021.
