These projects are an opportunity to<strong> develop technologies in collaboration with companies and therefore to generate impact<\/strong>. During the coffee, the main characteristics of the call will be discussed and, in particular, the <strong>important novelties of this year&#039;s edition<\/strong>, to be taken into account for the preparation of proposals.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 1.2em\"><strong>This coffee talk will be given in Spanish.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h5 class=\"cimne blue-background\" style=\"padding-left: 15px;float: none\">SPEAKER CV<\/h5>\n<p style=\"font-size: 1.2em\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cimne.com\/sgp\/dir\/Profile.aspx?id=566\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Fernando Salazar<\/strong><\/a> is a Civil Engineer (UPM, 2002) and a PhD in Structural Analysis (UPC, 2017). Director of Project Development at CIMNE and coordinator of the Preaward unit. He has engineering consulting experience, focused on hydraulic engineering and dam safety. Since he joined CIMNE in 2009, his research focuses on solving engineering problems by combining numerical modeling and machine learning techniques.
