The Nordic Association for Computational Mechanics (NoACM<\/strong><\/a>) organizes this specialized meeting place for researchers interested in computational methods and scientists and engineers focusing on challenging applications in broad aspects of mechanics.<\/p>\n

Experts from around the world will meet in Goteborg, Sweden, in April 2025 to discuss the latest trends in Computational Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, and Solid Mechanics. Presentations from graduate students are particularly welcomed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

NoACM represents the interest for the Nordic and Baltic countries in the European Community on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences (ECCOMAS<\/strong><\/a>) and the International Association for Computational Mechanics (IACM<\/strong><\/a>). <\/p>\n

The CIMNE Congress Bureau<\/a><\/strong> leads the Conference Secretariat for the event, which was first held at Chalmers University in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1988.<\/p>\n

Call for Abstracts<\/h2>\n

Attendants are invited to submit their proposals for oral contributions by January 29, 2025<\/strong> using the official website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

<\/strong>Either Word<\/a> and Latex<\/a> templates may be used.<\/p>\n

<\/strong>Proposals should outline the main ideas and results discussed in the talk, briefly describing the topic and state of the art, including up to 10 citations. The proponents should also identify the lack of current knowledge of relevant research questions of the field of study they want to address. The research methodology, results, and conclusions, as well as their general significance should also be provided.<\/p>\n
