\"><strong>Antonio Soriano Prize<\/strong><\/a> in its first edition 2019-2020 for the <strong>best thesis in the field of Geotechnical Engineering<\/strong>, granted by the <a href=\"https:\/\/semsig.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/semsig.org\/\"><strong>Spanish Society of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (SEMSIG)<\/strong><\/a>, for his doctoral thesis entitled <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cimne.com\/987\/2811\/2019\" title=\"tesis\">\u00ab<strong>Experimental Study and Numerical Modelling of Soil-Roots Hydro-Mechanical Interactions\u00bb<\/strong><\/a> of the <strong>Doctoral Programme in Geotechnical Engineering <a href=\"http:\/\/www.upc.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"UPC\">UPC<\/a><\/strong> and<strong> co-directed by Enrique Romero Morales (CIMNE) and Thierry Fourcaud (<a href=\"https:\/\/umr-innovation.cirad.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"UMR AMAP\">UMR AMAP<\/a>, Montpellier).<\/strong> The thesis in cotutelle agreement between the Universitat Polit&egrave;cnica de Catalunya &middot;
