The community has constituted a pole of innovation in efficient and sustainable manufacturing, hosting the development of four projects. Co-funded by the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/regional_policy\/ES\/funding\/erdf\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\" European Regional Development Fund (FEDER)\">European Regional Development Fund (FEDER)<\/a><\/strong> and <a href=\"\/\/accio.gencat.cat\/\" title=\"accio\"><strong>Acci&oacute; (Generalitat of Catalonia)<\/strong><\/a>, CIMNE participates in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cimne.com\/sgp\/rtd\/Project.aspx?id=770\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"AVINT\"><strong>AVINT<\/strong><\/a>, a project led by EURECAT and consisting of the design of machining strategies and roughness prediction for an integrity optimal surface.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cimne.com\/cvdata\/cntr2\/spc2\/dtos\/mdia\/News\/idf-closing-session.jpg\" alt=\"IDF\" \/><br \/><span class=\"cimne green\">Closing session presentation at AC Hotels<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The results of the project were presented in this closing session which counted with <strong>300 attendees<\/strong> (<span>half online and the other half in person<\/span>). <strong>Jordi Palmiola<\/strong>, the coordinator of the community, addressed administrative topics as well as presented the conferences of the partners that took place in the&nbsp;Industry 4.0 Congress.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Zeljko Pazin<\/strong>, Executive Director of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.effra.eu\/\">EFFRA<\/a><\/strong>, European Factories of the Future Research Association, was in charge of the talk \u00abMade in Europe Partnership &amp; EFFRA\u00bb. After that, <strong>Joan Guasch<\/strong>,&nbsp;Director of International Development and Public Programmes at EURECAT, explained the&nbsp;NextGenEU and DIH4CAT funds in his talk.&nbsp;The Technical Coordinator of the Community IdF, <strong>Joan Rigat<\/strong>, closed the session by presenting the subsequent demonstrators&#039; visit at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.advancedfactories.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Advanced Factories\"><strong>Advanced Factories Fair<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cimne.com\/cvdata\/cntr2\/spc2\/dtos\/mdia\/News\/EURECAT.jpg\" alt=\"Eurecat\" style=\"padding-bottom: 5px\" \/><br \/><span class=\"cimne green\">EURECAT stand at Advanced Factories Fair<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On June 9 2021, RIS3CAT Community Industries for Future (IdF, according to its acronym in Catalan) held its closing session at the AC Hotels in Barcelona.
