\"AulasFrom 25 to 27th May, 2022,<\/strong> the Second International CIMNE Classroom Symposium<\/strong> was held online.<\/p>\n

More than 50 researchers from seven different countries participated in the Symposium:<\/strong> Mexico, Cuba, Argentina, Spain, Colombia, Chile and Guatemala, represented by the CIMNE classrooms of CIMAT<\/strong><\/a>, UMG<\/a><\/strong>, UPM<\/a><\/strong>, UNER<\/strong><\/a>, UGTO<\/a><\/strong>, EEBE<\/a><\/strong>, ETSINO<\/strong><\/a>, UMSNH<\/strong><\/a>, UCI<\/a><\/strong>, FICH<\/strong><\/a>, PUCV<\/strong><\/a> and UNAs.<\/p>\n

Twenty talks were presented during the event, all of them developed within the CIMNE Classrooms,<\/strong> dealing with topics such as biodiversity, optimization and improvement of industrial processes, among others.<\/p>\n

The inaugural session was carried out by Prof. Javier Bonet<\/strong>, the new director of CIMNE. During his speech, he expressed the commitment to ensure growth and collaboration among the members of the Classroom Network<\/strong>. It is also worth mentioning the posthumous recognition of Prof. Benjamín Suárez<\/strong> and Francisca Garcia-Sicilia<\/strong>, made by Prof. Eugenio Oñate, who have been architects of the Classroom Network.<\/p>\n

The keynote talks were presented by Prof. Salvador Botello<\/strong>, Prof. Xavier Oliver<\/strong> and Prof. Javier Mora<\/strong>, who shared their research with the CIMNE Classrooms community. \u00abFrom the organizing committee we want to express our deep gratitude to all the participants and speakers for having made this Second Symposium a resounding success and invite them to participate in new editions of this event\u00bb, explains the organizing commitee formed by Francisco Zárate, Mauricio Pohl, Salvador Botello, Francisco Domínguez and Laura Almunia.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
