{"id":249432,"date":"2021-05-07T22:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-05-07T20:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cimne.com\/eflows4hpc-is-now-an-affiliated-project-of-the-hipeac-network\/"},"modified":"2025-10-27T09:17:17","modified_gmt":"2025-10-27T08:17:17","slug":"eflows4hpc-is-now-an-affiliated-project-of-the-hipeac-network","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cimne.com\/ca\/eflows4hpc-is-now-an-affiliated-project-of-the-hipeac-network\/","title":{"rendered":"eFlows4HPC is now an affiliated project of the HiPEAC network"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hipeac.net\/network\/projects\/7065\/eflows4hpc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"eFlows4HPC\">eFlows4HPC<\/a><\/strong> is now an affiliated project of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hipeac.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"hipeac\"><strong>HiPEAC network<\/strong><\/a>. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hipeac.net\/network\/projects\/7065\/eflows4hpc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"eFlows4HPC\">eFlows4HPC<\/a><\/strong> aims to deliver <strong>a workflow software stack<\/strong> and an additional <strong>set of services to enable the integration of HPC simulations<\/strong> and <strong>modelling with big data analytics and machine learning in scientific and industrial applications<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>The software stack will allow creating innovative adaptive workflows that efficiently use the computing resources considering novel storage solutions.<\/strong> On top of this software stack, the project will build an HPC Workflow as a Service (HPCWaaS) platform to facilitate the reusability of these complex workflows in federated HPC infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/old.cimne.com\/cvdata\/cntr2\/spc2\/dtos\/mdia\/News\/hipeac.jpg\" alt=\"hipeac\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The goal is to <strong>provide methodologies and tools that enable sharing and reuse of existing workflows and that assist when adapting workflow templates to create new workflow instances<\/strong>.
