CIMNE participates at Dedalus project<\/strong><\/a>, an EU-funded project with a partnership of 23 institutions and companies. Within the programme Horizon Europe (2021-2027), Dedalus will design, develop and demonstrate SSH-driven multi-value energy carrier-agnostic micro <\/strong>(home\/apartment)-to macro <\/strong>(building & district-scale) participatory Demand Response (DR) ecosystem<\/strong>, aimed to: <\/span><\/p>\n

(a) facilitate and scale up residential energy consumers massive participation to DR;<\/p>\n

(b) adapt to a variety of different mono-carrier (electricity, heat) or multi-carrier synergetic scenarios (electricity vs heat and natural gas) at building\/district scale, while strengthening social interactions within respective communities.<\/p>\n

\"Energy<\/p>\n

To this aim, the consortium will deploy:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1) a Social Science Framework<\/strong> for multi-dimensional incentives and nudging interventions tools;<\/p>\n

2) AI-based individual\/building\/districts consumers <\/strong>clustering and segmentation algorithms;<\/p>\n

3) Open APIs<\/strong> for DRready smart appliances;<\/p>\n

4) Energy DataSpace adaptation<\/strong> for extended DR interoperability and privacy-preserving DLT\/Blockchain Data Governance and flexibility coordination;<\/p>\n

5) Digital Twins<\/strong> for consumers-aware DR flexibility planning;<\/p>\n

6) Comfort-based flexibility models<\/strong> and tools for serviced apartments for elderly people;<\/p>\n

7) Flexibility management tools for building<\/strong> and physical\/virtual districts energy communities, based on pre-aggregation and shared DR assets;<\/p>\n

8) Optimal aggregation of flexible energy assets<\/strong> for district heating and decentralized power2heat<\/p>\n

9) Business Sandbox<\/strong> with novel sharing economy social innovation-based business models.<\/p>\n

DEDALUS solutions will be validated by five Front Runners full-scale pilots and replicated by two Multipliers in 7 countries<\/strong>, deployed at the interplay of energy, and non-energy (comfort\/healthcare, ageing, social innovation) sectors, and operated by different stakeholders (social housing operators, building operators, aggregators, energy communities, retailers\/suppliers, DSOs\/District Heating Network operators).<\/p>\n
