Un cop els tubs s’omplen d’aigua, creen una estructura d’escullera que emergeix sobre la superf\u00edcie de l’aigua i pot <\/span>mitigar l’efecte de les onades incidents<\/span><\/strong> . A difer\u00e8ncia de les esculleres estructurals permanents, la soluci\u00f3 innovadora de CIMNE nom\u00e9s es pot utilitzar durant per\u00edodes de mal temps per evitar l’erosi\u00f3 de les platges de sorra, <\/span>minimitzant el seu impacte ambiental sobre els corrents marins naturals i la biodiversitat<\/span><\/strong> quan l’aigua est\u00e0 tranquil\u00b7la.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n El <\/span>model a escala<\/span><\/strong> de l’escullera inflable es va <\/span>provar amb \u00e8xit<\/span><\/strong> al canal d’ones llargues de 100 m del Laboratori d’Enginyeria Mar\u00edtima (LIM) de l’Escola d’Enginyeria Civil de la Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Catalunya (UPC) l’any 2021. Aquest funcionament c\u00edclic ajuda a mantenir el transport natural de sediments i preserva la biodiversitat marina.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Aquesta tecnologia no nom\u00e9s aborda els problemes locals d’erosi\u00f3 i inundacions, sin\u00f3 que tamb\u00e9 promou l’equilibri ecol\u00f2gic.
