Aquest m\u00e8tode redueix substancialment l\u2019\u00fas de mem\u00f2ria i aconsegueix una disminuci\u00f3 notable del rang en comparaci\u00f3 amb implementacions consolidades d\u2019elements finits com la plataforma FEniCS. Aquest guany en rendiment, per\u00f2, requereix repensar de manera fonamental la implementaci\u00f3 de les operacions b\u00e0siques dels elements finits, incloent-hi la discretitzaci\u00f3 de la malla, l\u2019ordenaci\u00f3 dels nodes i graus de llibertat, la matriu de rigidesa, l\u2019assemblatge de forces nodals internes i l\u2019execuci\u00f3 d\u2019operacions algebraiques matriu-vector. Va obtenir el t\u00edtol d\u2019Enginyeria Civil el 1997 i el doctorat en Mec\u00e0nica de Sols i Estructures el 2001 a la Universitat de Trento. Des del 2021 \u00e9s directora del programa docent d\u2019Enginyeria Civil. \u00c9s experta en procediments de mec\u00e0nica computacional de s\u00f2lids i estructures. La seva activitat investigadora ha donat lloc a m\u00e9s de 150 publicacions cient\u00edfiques en revistes internacionals i actes de congressos, com a autora \u00fanica o en col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 amb experts internacionals.
