The multi-physics, multi-scale nature of AM processes&mdash;encompassing mechanical, thermal, and phase-change phenomena across wide spatial and temporal scales&mdash;demands advanced approaches for effective product and process design.<\/p>\n<p>Sim-AM 2025 aims to bring together researchers and practitioners to share breakthroughs in AM process simulation, design for AM, topology optimization, novel materials, experimental validation, and industrial applications.<br \/><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><br \/><strong>Key Topics:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">AM process modeling and simulation<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Topology optimization and design strategies<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">New alloys and materials for AM<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Scale bridging and characterization techniques<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Process-structure-property-performance relationships\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Fatigue and durability of AM components<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Innovative measurement and data-driven methods<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Applications in civil engineering, bioprinting, and medicine<br \/><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 1.2em\">The <strong>call for abstracts<\/strong> will be open for contributors to submit their proposals until May 5, 2025.
