Obrim fil <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/FQNwK250KW\">pic.twitter.com\/FQNwK250KW<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; CIMNE (@cimne) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/cimne\/status\/1587001836048994305?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 31, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h4 class=\"cimne blue-background\">Abstract of the presentation<\/h4>\n<p style=\"font-size: 1.2em\">The work &ldquo;Development of a digital twin for predictive maintenance of the structure of floating wind turbines&rdquo; presents a <strong>methodology for the development of a structural digital twin, conceived for its application in the predictive maintenance of floating wind turbines<\/strong>. The digital twin is based on a detailed three-dimensional dynamic FEM (Finite Element Method) model of the structure coupled with a time-domain seakeeping analysis solver. The resulting model has several million degrees of freedom, making it unmanageable for operational use.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 1.2em\">For this reason, <strong>Model Order Reduction techniques (MOR) are used in order to generate a reduced model with a few hundred degrees of freedom and high precision<\/strong>.
