On 27th April, 2023, CIMNE attended the Kick-off meeting of X4HPC<\/strong><\/a>, a network coordinated by the Barcelona Supercomputing Center<\/strong> and funded by the Government of Catalonia through AGAUR<\/strong><\/a>. X4HPC brings together the most representative scientific institutions, research centers and companies in the field of High-performance Computing (HPC)<\/strong> in Catalonia (University of Barcelona<\/strong><\/a>, Autonomous University of Barcelona<\/strong><\/a>, Institute for Research in Biomedicine<\/a><\/strong>, Vall d'Hebron Research Institute<\/strong><\/a>, CIMNE<\/strong>, Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute<\/strong> <\/a>and the Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona<\/strong><\/a>), with the aim of to promote technology transfer and the valorization of HPC technologies towards industry and society.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On behalf of CIMNE, the meeting was attended by the Technology Transfer Unit<\/strong>, formed by Jordi Jiménez<\/strong> and Jazmín Ríos<\/strong>, together with the Kratos Multiphysics<\/strong><\/a> research group, represented by Riccardo Rossi<\/strong><\/a> and Rubén Zorrilla<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n
