El codi d’\u00e8tica en recerca defineix els principis que regeixen l\u2019activitat investigadora, promou les bones pr\u00e0ctiques cient\u00edfiques i facilita l\u2019assessorament en q\u00fcestions d\u2019integritat. Tant el CIMNE com els seus investigadors es comprometen amb sis principis generals.<\/p>\n

Els investigadors han de descriure amb precisi\u00f3 el proc\u00e9s de recerca, considerar opinions alternatives i contraarguments, mantenir una actitud oberta davant la incertesa, abstenir-se de fer afirmacions infundades, de fabricar o falsificar dades o fonts, i de presentar els resultats de manera m\u00e9s favorable o desfavorable del que correspon. Tamb\u00e9 han de respectar l\u2019autoria de qualsevol contribuci\u00f3, incloent-hi la citaci\u00f3 justa dels membres en el cas de treballs en equip.<\/p>\n

Els investigadors han d\u2019utilitzar m\u00e8todes cient\u00edficament rigorosos i emprar la m\u00e0xima cura en el disseny, la direcci\u00f3, l\u2019execuci\u00f3, la comunicaci\u00f3 i la difusi\u00f3 de la recerca. Aix\u00f2 implica tamb\u00e9 que no han de promoure pr\u00e0ctiques pseudocient\u00edfiques, pseudotecnol\u00f2giques o fraudulentes que aprofitin el prestigi social de la ci\u00e8ncia i la tecnologia per manipular o enganyar mitjan\u00e7ant m\u00e8todes poc fiables.<\/p>\n

Els investigadors han d\u2019indicar clarament en quines dades es basa la seva recerca, com s\u2019han obtingut, quins s\u00f3n els resultats i com s\u2019han generat, aix\u00ed com el paper que han jugat les parts externes implicades. Aix\u00f2 implica explicar la metodologia, els processos i els algoritmes utilitzats per dur a terme la recerca, de manera que altres investigadors puguin reproduir els resultats. Si alguna part de la recerca o de les dades no es fa p\u00fablica, cal justificar-ne el motiu. Tamb\u00e9 s\u2019ha de deixar clar com s\u2019ha dut a terme la recerca i quines han estat les diferents etapes del proc\u00e9s. El raonament ha de ser evident i els passos del proc\u00e9s de recerca han de ser verificables.<\/p>\n

Els aspectes seg\u00fcents no han de veure\u2019s influ\u00efts en cap cas per persones o institucions motivades per consideracions no cient\u00edfiques: l\u2019elecci\u00f3 del m\u00e8tode, l\u2019avaluaci\u00f3 de les dades, el valor atribu\u00eft a opinions alternatives i la valoraci\u00f3 de la recerca o de les propostes de recerca. En aquest sentit, la independ\u00e8ncia inclou tamb\u00e9 la imparcialitat. La independ\u00e8ncia \u00e9s necess\u00e0ria en el disseny, la realitzaci\u00f3 i la publicaci\u00f3 de la recerca, tot i que no necess\u00e0riament en l\u2019elecci\u00f3 del tema o de la pregunta de recerca. En qualsevol cas, cal justificar aquestes eleccions.<\/p>\n

Els investigadors han de tenir en compte els interessos leg\u00edtims de totes les persones i \u00e9ssers vius utilitzats com a subjectes d\u2019estudi, aix\u00ed com els d\u2019altres parts implicades, entitats finan\u00e7adores i el medi ambient, i han de tractar amb respecte totes les persones involucrades en el proc\u00e9s de recerca. La responsabilitat implica tamb\u00e9 dur a terme una recerca rellevant des del punt de vista cient\u00edfic, social i ambiental, que compleixi criteris de sostenibilitat. En el marc de la missi\u00f3 social de la ci\u00e8ncia i la tecnologia, aquest principi exigeix que aquestes activitats es duguin a terme de manera eficient, tenint en compte el cost social i no nom\u00e9s les consideracions econ\u00f2miques. La responsabilitat s\u2019ha de practicar en totes les etapes, des de la idea fins a la publicaci\u00f3 de la recerca, i tamb\u00e9 en relaci\u00f3 amb les tecnologies i aplicacions resultants. En aquest sentit, les persones responsables han de retre comptes davant l\u2019organisme corresponent pel projecte de recerca dut a terme. Els drets de la ciutadania tamb\u00e9 s\u2019han de considerar en totes les fases del projecte. Cal reflexionar sobre qui seran els beneficiaris o usuaris de la recerca, i establir mecanismes de comunicaci\u00f3 des del principi.<\/p>\n
